About
Steven (He/They) is a New York City based Lighting Designer, Assistant LD, and Programmer. He has designed primarily in theatre, dance, and event lighting, but is constantly looking to expand his horizons into new mediums such as concert lighting and film.
Steven is a hands on designer and continues to enjoy working as a technician, taking those opportunities to study the work of others and connect with likeminded artists. In his free time he enjoys using photography to play with color, composition, and texture, experimenting with different visual aesthetics that can be brought into his work in lighting.
Steven graduated from the University of Virginia with a BA in Drama, concentrating in Lighting Design and Technology.
